Bedale Sports Club & Community Centre Solar Panel Project

This project is to install 12 solar panels at Bedale Sports Club & Community Centre, a voluntary association of sports clubs (association football, cricket, croquet, running, squash and racketball and tennis) with a thriving social membership open to everyone and recently extended facilities encouraging daytime and evening use by all the community.
The Association are finding it more difficult to manage of expenditure without increasing fees to a level that might prohibit members of the community enrolling in the association. The solar panel installation is estimated will save £2,369 in the first year with the payback estimated to be 6 years.
