Bede House Improvement Project

Part of a wider refurbishment project at Chichlele Bede House to improve access, heating, toilets and kitchen facilities. The Bede House is a 15th century, grade 1 listed building in the grounds of St Mary’s Church (also grade 1 listed). Since the 1970s it has functioned as a community centre with one large hall, a small meeting room and kitchen

Funding will be used for external access improvements, fully accessible toilets and a proportion of costs towards heating, lighting and decoration to refurbish the main hall and kitchen.
