BeeWild Initiative

This project will contribute to the safeguarding of specific species in urban greenspace and raise awareness of wildlife gardening to a new audience. Taking place at various project locations within Angus each site will receive a number of biodiversity kits and be responsible for preparing a Biodiversity Action Plan with the help of the Biodiversity Coordinator. Overall the objective of the project will be to increase the population of various species; pipistrelle bat, song thrush, hedgehog, common toad/frog etc. Secondly to encourage the wide range of local communities and volunteers involved to take part in a variety of surveys and to find out more about urban greenspace around them.
