Belfairs Park & Nature Reserve, Proposed Woodland Resource Centre

To provide a new Woodland Resource Centre building in Belfairs Woods to promote conservation and community engagement in the ancient woodland heritage. The Centre will provide public, woodland heritage related education events and a cafe and shop. A variety of interpretation techniques will be used to explain about the history of the woodlands, sustainable woodland management, woodland wildlife and uses for local timber. The Centre will provide facilities for local community group meetings and a base for woodland field trials.
