Belfairs Woodland Resource Centre

The project provides essential components to Phase 2 of a new Woodland Resource Centre for ancient woodland heritage conservation and community engagement in local heritage. There is no similar facility in the area.
With 500,000 visitors already to Belfairs Park, the Centre will provide community cohesion whilst supporting a valuable ancient woodland landscape, achieved through events, formal and informal education, volunteering opportunities and conservation activities.
The Phase 2 funding is essential to ensure the Centre sits comfortably within its woodland location.
