Belfast – A Living City

The project aims to engage local communities in the protection and enhancement of biodiversity of the Bog Meadows Nature Reserve in Belfast. The project will provide protection for the environment and the conservation and promotion of biological diversity. It will do this through recording of Priority Species and habitats within the Bog Meadows Nature Reserve. An example of bird species would include skylark, house sparrow, linnet, starling song thrush, reed bunting and bullfinch. The recordings would be used to conserve, restore or enhance the habitats to their benefit
