Belfast Hills Marsh Upland Heath (Cavehill) Project

Main aim to improve the quality of upland heath in existing heathland and where possible to expand the extent of the heathland in the Belfast Hills area. These sites represent the major part of the habitat in Belfast Hills. This will include establishing the current extent and quality of upland heath through conducting a baseline survey, identify current management issues and develop a management plan for the habitat. LCF to go towards survey work, monitoring of species, reporting and site management plan and recommendations, project management.
