Belle Vue Avenue, Scholes - Play Facilities Refurbishment

The project will create a new outdoor gym area and multi-use games area for community members to play basketball, netball, football and cricket. By resurfacing the tennis courts area with a non-slip surface and installing a new fence around the MUGA, the project will enable residents to meet, socialise and exercise in a safe, well-equipped, modern environment, contributing to their physical fitness and wellbeing. Weekly bootcamp sessions will also be provided free of charge by a personal trainer to encourage the correct use of the equipment. As well as sporting activities and exercise, the fenced-off area will be available for community events such as children's parties.
