Belmond Recreational Ground

Belmond Recreation Ground is a large open space of 3.1 ha, located in the London Borough of Haringey, the10th most deprived district in England. The majority of the space is mown grass, with some aging facilities. A recent community consultation highlighted that the park does not cater adequately for the needs of local people, especially in regard to security, play provision, access and planting. Residents would like to see improvements to the entances and the play area, creation of a new toddlers play area, circular path and dog free picnic areas; and planting to improve security, aesthetic and biodiversity.
