Belvedere Recreation Ground North (Belvedere Beach), London Borough of Bexley

This is a project to replace the water park at Belvedere Recreation Ground North, which has come to the end of its life, with a bespoke new facility, based on a ‘Beach’ theme, where all elements of play equipment and other features complement each other and provide a play landscape. The new facilities have been designed following consultation with local people and will encourage attract families to “stay and play” and enjoy a longer visit than might be expected at the more traditional playgrounds. It is designed to be fully inclusive, suitable for those visitors with disabilities, and also includes a sensory zone.
