Bempton & Buckton Playground

The project will facilitate the planning, development construction and long term maintenance of a playground facility in the rurally situation parish of Bempton and Buckton. The new play environment will stimulate and challenge children’s physical, social and emotional development by increasing their confidence, self-esteem, motor and communication skills whilst at the same time helping to combat childhood obesity and anti-social behaviour. Phase 1 of the project will establish a play facility for 6-12 year olds, including safety surfacing.
