Bench Road Play for all Project

The aim of this project is to transform a run down play area into a fun, challenging and accessible space for children and families living in Fairfield which is an area of deprivation in Buxton, Derbyshire. The existing play area on Bench Road is central to the community, being located close to both Fairfield Infant and Junior Schools, as well as the local shops. It is therefore used by the majority of families living on the estate but is in desperate need of enhancement. The project aims to completely refurbish the existing play area at Bench Road. The funding would be used specifically to remove all the existing equipment and surfacing, and replace with new, exciting and accessible play equipment and safety surfacing, which will ensure that children of all abilities and backgrounds can play together.
