Benefitting biodiversity in Derbyshire (Mead)

This project aims to purchase 121.8ha of land for the purpose of creating vital new woodland near Smalley, Derbyshire. Once in Woodland Trust ownership we will plant thousands of trees, as woodland, hedgerows and open parkland areas. We’ll also enhance other habitats to create a wildlife friendly space where nature can thrive and which is freely accessible for the community to enjoy.
