Bere Regis Parish Church – Nave and South Aisle Roof repairs

The lead of the entire Nave roof, and part of the South Aisle roof, of the Grade 1 listed parish church of Bere Regis, need to be replaced. This was discovered in the most recent quinquennial survey (a five yearly requirement of all parish churches in the Church of England). The lead is at the end of its useful life and replacement is needed within two years.In addition, the installation of an alarm system covering the entire roof to help in the prevention of future theft of metal.
