Bexhill Road Skate Park, Brighton – Phase 2 (1721/D)

The projects aim is to provide a skate facility at Bexhill Road Park in Woodingdean to improve the play and public amenity value of the site for the local community, particularly for young people. The site is curently derelict and is poorly used by local residents. The request for a skate park originally came from young people who attend the Youth Centre in Woodingdean. The plan is to develop the skate park in two phases. Phase 1 -a skate bowl. Phase 2 a street skate area with ramps, bars etc for which we are seeking funding from Veolia. The site will be adjacent to a new playground. The Trust grant is a contribution towards the skate plaza.
