Bexley Riverkeeper Programme – River Shuttle

This project is a three-year programme to deliver environmental improvement and sustainable community participation in protecting and enhancing the waterways in the London Borough of Bexley for public amenity and wildlife. The project will entail environmental improvement to the River Shuttle by removing litter and fly-tipping, vegetation management and wildlife habitat enhancement; engagement of community groups and residents through volunteering activity; and building of sustainable environmental improvement through constructive youth engagement, by delivering angling development and schools programmes.
