Bideford Angling Club Toilet Facilities at Gammaton Lake

Bideford and District Angling Club aims to construct a toilet block with facilities for disabled users, to serve the newly constructed coarse fishing lake at Bideford. The Environment Agency has supported the Angling Club in the creation of this coarse fishing facility, which not only provides a leisure facility but has also enhanced the natural wetland habitat. The club aims to welcome able-bodied and disabled visitors and to encourage recreational angling as a leisure opportunity for the community and particularly young people. The Environment Agency has programmed a Schools Angling Day for June 3rd to introduce youngsters to fishing at the new lake but the lake cannot be opened to the public until sanitary facilities have been installed
