Bideford Skatepark

Bideford skatepark comprising of a free-standing bespoke ramp and rail equipment on a tar-mac service was condemned and removed in February 2017 as the site was extremely run down and not health and safety compliant due to heavy usage. Consultation with users, Skate companies, youth groups, police, local schools and youth organisations has identified a now urgent need to provide a permanent structure that could cater for all age ranges and abilities now that the original facility is now redundant. The project will create a concrete “destination facility” that will service the whole community and surround.
