Big Wood Visitor Improvements

Big Wood is situated on the north eastern edge of Runcorn and this project plans to improve access and entrances whilst also enhancing the site through new interpretation, making the site more appealing to visit. Despite its close proximity to a large population of 10,000 approximately the site is under used.

The main elements of the project are new and welcoming entrance, bridge repairs with carvings , path renovation, interpretation boards, marker posts, seating, Woodland leaflet.
