Bilbrook Village, near Codsall - Jubilee Walk (4967/D)

The Jubilee Walks form part of a larger heritage project within the village, they are to coincide with the Queens Jubilee celebration in 2012. They are a set of 2 nature walks, one south and one north of the village. They will encourage wildlife and natural habitat, tourism, and inform the community of the history & wildlife they can expect to see along the walks. The local school children will be involved producing drawings that will be carved into woodwork along the walk as way markers, signs and seating. There will be 10 way markers posts, 6 seats, 4 interpretation boards and 2 Jubilee walk signs along the routes. New plants will be planted to encourage natural wildlife. The Trust grant will contribute towards the creation of the Jubilee Walk.
