Biodiversity/Course Improvement

Dig around 100 metres of field drains; line with membrane and gravel, lay in collecting pipe work, overfill with gravel, and top cap with turf. This collects run-off water from a very wet part of the golf course, and diverts that water down a slope to a new created pond 20 metre by 5 metre (approx). The pond will be planted with suitable pond plants and allowed to fill up to provide a new biodiversity site on ground which is currently grass and weeds and used to dump grass cuttings etc. The pond will then be left to its own devices to thrive, and develop as nature sees fit. The project serves the purpose of both draining the land, and creating a new wildlife hotspot.
