Biodiversity Enhancements at RSPB Bogside Flats

We wish to undertake a programme of biodiversity improvements to the coastal and floodplain grazing marsh habitat of RSPB Bogside which is located near Irvine in North Ayrshire. Specifically, these improvements will include the installation of new fencing and the repair of currently degraded fencing, across an 18 hectare stretch of land at Bogside. This work will enhance habitat conditions for threatened wildlife species listed on the UK Biodiversity Action Plan such as lapwing, grasshopper warbler, curlew and skylark.
