Biodiversity Improvements at Three Mile Water

The Three Mile Water Angling Club has developed an interest from fishing in the river to taking on its maintenance and the enhancement of the surrounding environment. Managing the woodlands along the river is one of the clubs objectives both to provide shade along the sections of the river to encourage fish and as a general habitat for wildlife. The following would be undertaken, management plan to enhance the trees and woodland habitats, involvement of local communities and schools to plant trees, control shrubs, and manage meadow areas.
