Biodiversity in Glasgow-2

This project will collect baseline data in habitat features within ‘Built Up Areas and Gardens’ which are of special importance to Glasgow’s LBAP (see attached Local Habitat Statement ). In addition data on the birds and butterflies , found within Built Up Areas and Gardens, will also be gathered with particular emphasis on LBAP and UKBAP species.All survey jwork will be conducted through the use of vounteers who will be offered training and support. The results of the project will inform the general management of ‘Built Up Areas and Gardens’ and guide targeted habitat enhancement work in order to promote and conserve biodiversity as part of Glasgow’s LBAP
