Projects / Biodiversity project Bridgend

Biodiversity project Bridgend

The project is the maintenance of the member of staff responsible for the Tondu nature reserve. It will increase local use of the site. The post will manage the local volunteers, monitor local species, increase habitat creation, work with the local biodiversity action plans and partner organisations. Parc Slip is an excellent example of how to achieve the LBAP priorities on a post industrial site and how WTSWW has taken a lead in LBAP partnership work in Bridgend. The project will demonstrate best practise wildlife and habitat management and will encourage connectivity between sites to allow for species migration.
