Bird Hide Replacement at Upton Warren Wetland

Upton Warren Site of Special Scientific Interest (26.5ha) consists of a complex of freshwater and saline pools, providing valuable habitat to many rare species of wetland birds. It is Worcestershire’s premier bird watching site, offering visitors a network of bird hides with views across the different pools. One of the bird hides, the Cuckoo Hide, is old, and becoming unsafe for visitors. It can no longer be repaired and needs to be replaced. In addition, the new hide will be extended to include improved storage space for tools used by volunteers for conservation work across the reserve.
