Birkhill Environmental Improvements Project

On the site of the Birkhill Clay mine south west of the town of Bo’ness, exists a meadow. Both areas have fallen into a degraded state due to a lack of management. The applicant proposes to control the invasive secies that have established in the area, specifically in the Meadow. The area will then be resown with a variety of wildflower species.

The Applicant will also renew all paths in the immediate area.

These actions will increase the amenity to the many public visitors to the sitre per year.
