Birling Gap Life On The Edge

Birling Gap Café is situated on top of the cliffs at one end of the iconic Seven Sisters and has been owned and run by the National Trust since 2010. The building was formally a hotel and whilst we have been running the café since that time, lots of space within the building has been left dormant and now needs work. Approximately 300,000 people visit Birling Gap annually of which 100,000 use the existing facilities.

Our objective is to make use of redundant space to create and expand our facilities – including a community space for use by local groups.
