Bishop Monkton Methodist Church Community Space

The project aims to improve the church for community use and costs include remodelling the kitchen, refurbishing the toilets, carpeting the newly de-pewed sanctuary for community use and replacing the heating system. The applicants intend to form a new kitchen in the existing vestry, including new opening with serving hatch, removal of existing boiler in semi basement, installation of new heating system. They want to replace the second WC and add new flooring, including carpet tiles in the sanctuary where new, flexible space has been created after the removal of pews, along with carpet tiles in the schoolroom and vinyl in the new kitchen and WC. New lighting and associated electrical work to replace traditional with LED lighting. Painting and decorating all walls and ceilings.
