Bishop Stortford Canoe Club - New Boat Store

The applicant is seeking to build a new boatstore to house fragile racing canoes. It will replace the overcrowded storage areas in the main building and a temporary container. The immediate benefits will be reduced damage to club boats and the removal of the container. They will then be able to use the area released in the main building for indoor training (especially during darkness/winter) and classroom training (e.g. schools). The net gain in boat storage area will allow the club to further increase the number of introductory and intermediate boats available for use by beginners.
