Black Poplar Project

The black poplar is a rare native species, which is a high priority on the UK Biodiversity Action Plan. This project is to plant 75 trees, locally sourced, at two existing open spaces: Davy Down and Oak and Ash Wood. At both sites the trees will be planted away from the more frequently used areas to try to reduce losses from vandalism.
