Black Poplar Regeneration Project

Three sites for stool beds storing genetic infoamtion contained within local mature Black Poplar will be established. These will be harvested for cuttings to ensure the species does not die out locally, of suffer further from a reduction of genes present in the population.

This will address the Black Poplar LBAP target for Cheshire.
