The creation of a pond covering land on Blackhall Farm on the outskirts of Aberdeen. The owners have already carried out extensive hedge and tree planting on the farm as well as creating a wildflower meadow. The pond will add to the already substantial wildlife interest on their holding The pond will rely on the existing water table and it will be attractive to priority species such as Reed Bunting and species of conservation concern such as Daubenton's Bat
