Blackshots Leisure Centre, Thurrock - Sporting Facility Refurbishment

The project will refurbish and improve an exercise studio in order to deliver exercise, 'pre-hab' and 're-hab' services for all levels of users including those suffering with long term health conditions such as Cancer, Stroke survivors, and Pulmonary rehab. The project will increase the delivery capacity of the studio and will provide new lighting, improved ventilation/cooling, sprung floor, audio equipment and new doors. By upgrading this 60 year old building to meet the needs of the local community, the project will enable a variety of community groups to use the facilities, including school groups, pre school groups, dance school, disabled groups and local Swimming Club.
