Blockley Community Heritage Centre – Installation of double glazing

Blockley Heritage Society has acquired a lease from Blockley Parish Council on a redundant youth centre in the village. The building will be developed as a community heritage centre so that local people and visitors to the area can see more about the historical development of this area of the North Cotswolds and the lessons that can be learnt for the future sustainablilty of the region.
The main part of the building is the Jubilee Hall, which is available to local societies and organisations for a wide range of activities. We intend to extend one side of the building, but the Jubilee Hall will not be changed and we want to improve its energy efficiency and minimise heating costs.
