Blooming Heartwood

At Heartwood, we are creating the largest native woodland in the southern counties, at 347ha. We also understand the need to create other biodiversity elements into the overall structure of this woodland. The overall size of the land area enables us to achieve this. We have already created many wildflower meadows and open areas amongst the tree planting and we hope to create a further 20ha of grass and wildflowers for the project, this coming winter. This will support a wide aray of species really imortant to the biodiversity of the woodland
