Bluecoat House Centre

This £2.5m project will bring back into use, renovate and make accessible a Grade 2 Gothic building in the heart of Bath for upto 11 Charities to have permanent tenancies and upto 20 others for ‘hot-desking’ and meeting room space. 10,000 users per annum are anticipated.
The project is based on 5 years of work by charities supporting disadvantaged and isolated people of Bath and North East Somerset to come together to share a premises solution and to achieve economies of scale (IT, telephones, meeting space etc).
Project is developed based on two other similar, wholly sustainable centres led by Quartet Community Foundation in North Somerset and Bristol.
The centre will be wholly self-sustainable and will raise the profile of the sector externally whilst promoting better service delivery and collaboration across a range of charities.
