Blyth Cricket, Rugby and Tennis Club

The club aims to provide facilities for all its members, local school children and the general public. It aims to attract all people to the sport, regardless of their nationality, race or gender.

This club is the only cricket club in Blyth that provides the necessary facilities for the school children.

The club is requesting funding to purchase a new grass cutter as the one they currently have is very old and unreliable. The new cutter would ensure a better and safer playing surface for the junior and senior players.

The club will cover the cost of maintaining the machine in future by fundraising through quizes and raffles. The club’s groundsman will be responsible for carrrying out the maintenance.

The club would like to secure funding so work can start at the end of the season (approx. mid-September).
