Bog Meadows Enhancement Project Phase II

Bog Meadows is an urban nature reserve between the M1 Motorway and the Falls Road in Belfast. A project to carry out a range of environmental improvements to upgrade the appearance of the site, improve access and reduce anti-social behaviour was registered with ENTRUST in March 2014. Tenders however exceeded the initial estimate of costs and a phased approach was agreed with ENTRUST in May 2014. Phase I of the project has commenced and funding for Phase II has now been secured. Phase II works will include upgrades to paths, viewing mouds/areas and the pond dipping platform and also further boundary fencing.
