Boilton Wood Footpath Development

The steep section of footpath needs upgrading as the recent increase in usage has worn away the surface. The path forms a walking section of the Guild Wheel a cycleway stretching 22 miles around the City of Preston. We aim to upgrade the surface at four ware points by installing a pitched stone surface. To encourage cyclists to walk chicanes and signage will also be installed with the aim of slowing their decent down the slope.
