Boosting Holiday Moss’ Biodiversity

Holiday Moss is a fragment of lowland raised bog owned by Lancashire Wildlife Trust that has been in restoration since 2021. This project will focus on boosting the site’s biodiversity by returning cross-leaved heath, heather, bilberry and crowberry to the landscape as well as further habitat management work to protect the sphagnum and cotton grasses that are starting to thrive there.
