Boosting the Biodiversity of Baldoon

Removal of dilapidated/redundant stock fencing & installation of new fencing around 32ha of coastal saltmarsh & coastal & floodplain grazing marsh (both UK Bap habitats). This will facilitate a grazing regime for conservation management by controlling the intensity of grazing. Vegetation is left at the correct height to encourage nesting of ground nesting birds such as lapwings (UK Bap species)
