Booth Lane Park, Middlewich – New Skate Park (40115/D)

The existing playground and skate park at Booth Lane will be removed and preparation works for new equipment undertaken. The new layout will incorporate five pieces of play equipment for the under 10s. These pieces will have safety surfacing around them. The skate park will include a series of interlinking concrete quarter pipes, driveways, mini ramps and grind boxes and rails. Concrete is being used for durability and safety. The entrance gates will be repaired to be spring loaded and close after entry. We will be adding a youth shelter to the area and are working separately with Community Pride on a range of low maintenance shrubbery and fruit tree planting. Benches and bins will be placed to focus on the separate areas. These will be made from recycled materials. The Trust grant is a contribution towards the skate park.
