Boothtown Partnerhsup MUGA (Multi Use Games Area)

The project will provide a Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) aimed at children and young people aged 0 – 25+ years. The area to be utilised is a large open green space situated across from the local primary school, Children’s Centre and surrounded by mixed social, private ownership housing, a main road and bus route. The MUGA will be made of high quality steel mesh panels and will have a permeable surface manufactured and constructed to current EN Standards and noise and pollution controls, There will be fencing along all boundaries to control activities inside including football, basketball, rounders, various ball and run around games, the MUGA will also provide cricket stumps on both ends of the facility

The MUGA will offer a range of sports facilities (as suggested above) for the local community which consists of approx 2,000 households,
