Botley Skatepark

The project aims to provide a blown-concrete skatepark for all wheeled sports including scooters, skateboards, BMX bikes and roller skates. The skatepark will incorporate some billowing curves carefully designed to allow for ‘flow’ through the park, plus some flat sections for street skating, and a ‘mini ramp’ (like a half-pipe, but just 75cm high).
The planned design is inclusive of all abilities and wheel users. It also has low visual impact, with just 1 meter above ground which is suitable for the rural location.
