Bouchier Gardens Community Orchard and Allotment

A. To regenerate a derelict allotment site to create a new community orchard and allotment area. Produce will be shared amongst members of groups who work on the site. Any excess produce will be made available to Hartcliffe Health and Environment Action Group (a local community group and charity) and will be used for their healthy eating projects.

B. This site will be a focus for volunteer activities, skills development and community involvement. The site will be open for these activities on a regular basis and accessible to regular volunteers and allotment holders at any time. Activities such as work days and celebratory events will ensure that over the course of a year the site will be open for public access for at least the equivalent of 2 days per week.
