Bovey Tracey AFC – Pitch Drainage

Installation of a drainage system to the pitch which will allow the ground to be used more often than not, Since August 2019 and February 2020, the pitch has been used on 13 Saturdays out of 30, which has severely affected the club’s main income stream.
70% of funding will be sourced through the Football Stadia Improvement Fund and they are therefore looking to raise fund the balance.
As explained above the ground has suffered in the last 12 months from water, and the drainage system will go a long way to rectifying this and opening up the main income stream, Saturdays. Junior Teams will also be able to recommence games on our ground
