Bowes Community Garden

To provide a high quality stimulating outdoor play space to be accessed fully by the school and the community. It will include a variety of structured stimulating areas for play and investigation including sand and water areas. There will be permanent fixed equipment and the needs of SEN children have been taken into account by providing a sensory area. This area will be accessed throughout the year regardless of the weather. The existing pond area and the outdoor theatre are to be re-designed and further developed to enrich the curriculum for pupils, provide a relaxing space for the local community as well as creating play opportunities.

This will be a joint project with Bowes Pre School, Bowes School and Friends of Bowes.
