Bracken Ghyll Golf Club Community Function Room

Refurbishment & insulation of existing function room & the installation of an adequate heating system to make the facility usable all year round. Currently the room can only be used during warmer months of the year as it lacks heating and insulation. The function room is a vital public amenity to the local residents of Addingham who have very few public amenities in the village. It is not only used by the golf club members for indoor coaching and putting practices but is also available to hire 7 evenings a week for community groups, meetings & functions at a non-profit making rate. The project has received huge amounts of support from the local community & all the work is to be carried out by local volunteers which not only keeps costs low but also improves the villages community spirit
