Braehead Hall Refurbishment

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture a registered charity with their main aim to provide facilities for recreation, sport and culture. they have applied for funding to renovate and improve the village hall in Braehead. Part of their remit is to manage the community hall estate. The hall is used by a large number of local community and charitable groups for social, community support and fund raising activities and is the hub for community activity in the village. The hall was built in 1920 and is in need of repair, including repairing/removing asbestos and replacing with safer material. This will improve the amenity to the standard required. Including structural safety improvements, externalroof repairs, painting and interior refurbishment with more energy efficient material
